When you buy something: your name, email address, postal address, country, and phone number if you provide one. This comes from the checkout form.
When you use the site: standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type, and which pages you visited. If you arrived through an affiliate link, the referring affiliate is recorded so they can be credited.
Payment details are never collected here. Card and account information goes directly to Stripe or PayPal, whichever you choose at checkout, and is neither seen nor stored by The Rookie's Route.

Some of these providers operate servers outside the EU, including in the United States. Where that happens they rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Order records are kept for as long as Danish accounting rules require, currently five years from the end of the financial year. If you ask to be removed from the mailing list you are removed immediately, though the underlying sales record is kept for that accounting period.

The site uses cookies that are necessary to make checkout work and to remember an affiliate referral. It does not run advertising or profiling cookies.
